Elevada compatibilidad
La compatibilidad es el factor más importante a la hora de escoger un router 3G/4G. TP-LINK se ha asegurado de que sus routers 3G/4G son compatibles con los proveedores de acceso de aquellos países donde se comercializan para alcanzar el máximo nivel de compatibilidad entre éstos y los modelos de módem de que disponen los usuarios. Para estar siempre conectado
El TL-MR3420 se diferencia del resto de equipos gracias a su función de conexión redundante 3G/4G/WAN que permite a los usuarios mantenerse conectados cuando falla una de las dos conexiones. Ofrece a los usuarios la posibilidad de elegir qué conexión de respaldo prefieren (3G/4G o de banda ancha fija) mientras que otros fabricantes sólo proporcionan una u otra. Ello proporciona a los usuarios un alto nivel de flexibilidad a la hora de configurar la red y cuando se consideran aspectos como el coste de la conexión y las pérdidas de tiempo derivada de los fallos en ella.
Tecnología inalámbrica N
El TL-MR3420 incopora la tecnlogía IEEE 802.11n. Ello le permite ofrecer una conexión inalámbrica de hasta 300 Mbps de velocidad y minimizar las pérdidas de señal provocadas por la presencia de obstáculos en las oficinas o apartamentos, incluso en el caso de estructuras de acero y hormigón y a largas distancias. Y además podrá captar fácilmente la señal inalámbrica emitida por el router a una distancia mayor que si utiliza un dispositivo 11g de la generación anterior.
Encriptación WEP y WPA2
La encriptación WEP ya no es lo suficientemente segura como para salvaguardar a los usuarios de una red Wi-Fi. El TL-MR3420 emplea los métodos de encriptación WPA/WPA2 creados por asociación Wi-Fi Alliance (las variantes tanto personal como empresarial) que promueven la interoperatividad y seguridad en las redes inalámbricas y que le protegen de las intrusiones externas o las amenazas procedentes de Internet.
