We mistaking put up all of the plasterboard before marking where all of the studs were when it came to putting up shelves. You have to play around with the device a bit to get a feel for the speed you should be scanning, after you've sussed that its a very helpful device.

Came with a neat storage case and the temp dial helped too I kept it on just enough heat to melt the solder and it worked a doddle. I think the soldier it comes with had that stuff I think it’s called riosen? As the solder flowed nicely on the connection and wires. Excellent kit most recommend.

★★★★★ This was my first step into laser engraving and although I upgraded to a larger engraver I will still always recommend a laser engraver like this one to anyone who is unsure of the hobby. The fan on the top is not meant to extract fumes, smoke etc, it is there to help cool the laser, so do keep it in a well ventilated area.On mine within two weeks of getting it I had created a keyring, custom panels for miniatures and personalized my phonecase.Small laser engraving area is one of the downsides however that does allow it to be portable. being able to control it from my phone is an interesting concept however I always controlled it from the computer.

I bought it to personalise some Christmas gifts and my business logo onto itemsThe machine was well packaged and came with all software and extras.I installed the driver and software after going to the website. This was pretty simple. The software loads in Chinese by default and you just select English. This was pretty easy on windows 10. had no issues there.I added an image to the software,I set it up and did a test on the cardboard supplied and then minutes later I was engraving on to a diary. If you need to engrave a bigger item just adjust the laser until it's a tiny dot - This is important otherwise laser does not work as well until you focus it correctly.The finished item looked great and professional.This does exactly what I wanted and was a good price, I can't wait to engrave more items, it says to give the laser a break and I've been using this for a few hours and so far so good, so 5 stars from me.Well chuffed. ★★★★★ This meter is fantastic value for the price. It has a sturdy feel to it. You should note that it is intended for measuring EMFs at around the mains frequency, which is 50Hz in the UK. It has a bandwidth from 30Hz to 300Hz. You can use it to measure the field from relatively high-power mains powered devices, such as induction hobs, toasters, etc. You can check your bedroom, especially near the electrical sockets, to ensure that you are not sleeping in mains induced fields. It could also be used to see whether your house has EMFs from overhead high-voltage power lines or a nearby electrical sub-station. Note, that if you want to measure EMFs from cellphone towers, cellphones, WiFi or Smart Meters you need a device with a much higher frequency range (say 800MHz to 2.6GHz). It shows an alert if the magnetic field strength is above 0.4 microTesla, which is the normally accepted value at which long term exposure to magnetic fields may be harmful. It measures magnetic field strength in units of microTesla, which is the SI unit. The description for electric field strength is more suspect. It claims to measure the electric field strength in milliGauss. This seems incorrect to me, as the unit of electric field is Volts per metre (V/m) or newtons per coulomb. The unit milliGauss is actually an old unit (before SI units) of magnetic flux density, not electric field strength.The meter also displays ambient temperature but on my device the reading is about 3C above the correct value.

The only problem I have is with trying to find out what are acceptable levels, I just can’t seem to find a lamens table with easy to read information anywhere. But the device itself works very well.

Comes in a handy carry case which keeps all of the parts together. A quality ratcheting mechanism keeps the tool held down while you change position to apply pressure. Wide range of crimping templates means you can attach pretty much any small terminal with this kit. I would recommend removing the crimp templates from the pouches in the carry case and filling these with your crimps – makes the case much more useful!Included:- Case- Crimping Tool- Reversible Allen key/Screw driver- Bag of screws- 3 Sets of crimp templatesThe tool has a click hold function so you can keep your crimped terminal securely held while you trim away any excess copper and apply solder if you wish to use it this way.Overall a very good product at a decent price point. ★★★★★ I started off with a "DuPont" crimper, but that had very small crimp closures on the jaws and wasn't suitable for the automotive type of work I needed to do. There are different crimp mechanisms and different sizes, so it can be a bit difficult understanding which actual crimping tool you need. I needed a tool that could crimp automotive type wires, so that I could crimp male/female pins onto the wires and then insert them into the appropriate male/female connector housing. It has to be perfect - any mangling of the crimp closure means the pins won't insert.This tool ships with different interchangeable jaws and I found the jaws that were already in situ worked perfectly for crimping these automotive connector pins 1.5 - 2 I think the guage is. I was able to make a perfect crimp every time as the tool allows for gradual compression on the crimp closure, so you can be sure it is aligned perfectly before making the final grip. It crimps the silicone outer bush and the inner copper wire perfectly on the 2-step jaw (the crimp on the copper is smaller and tighter than the crimp on the silicone outer bush).With this tool I was able to crimp 40+ pins without a single mistake and all of them inserted perfectly into the connector housing after crimping. Trying to do this without the proper tool would have been almost impossible, but certainly very time-consuming. This tool was literally worth its weight in gold to me. Every connection works and the waterproofing properties appear to be good from the finished result.I would thoroughly recommend this tool - it should do most jobs, but you need to understand what jaws you need for what job and I don't think the product description really makes this clear. Also, there are NO instructions with it. Like me, you can take a chance and assume that one set of jaws will do the job for you, but it might be trial and error finding out which.Definitely one to have in the tool box. Inevitably there will be cable jointing and so crimping jobs to do from time to time.

Makes a well formed crimp and interchangeable dies mean that I only need one tool instead of two or three for the crimps I regulary use. The interchangeable dies will all fit in one of the case pockets leaving three pockets available to carry a few crimps and there is also space in the case for wire cutters/strippers Just what I was looking for.
